Convert CSV to XLSX in your browser

Open a CSV in GridCraft, work with the data, and save it as an XLSX workbook.

A small workflow for a common job

1. Open the online spreadsheet editor.
2. Choose Open and select your CSV file.
3. Check that columns and rows were interpreted correctly. Pay attention to dates, leading zeros, decimal separators and long identifiers.
4. Adjust the table as needed: format cells, add formulas or sort rows.
5. Choose Save to download an XLSX workbook. Keep the original CSV until you have checked the result.

Why check the imported values?

CSV stores plain text rather than a workbook’s types, styles or formulas. Spreadsheet software may interpret values such as 00123 or 03/04 differently from what you intended. Verify these columns before continuing.

Need CSV again?

The editor’s File → Export → CSV option exports the active sheet. CSV cannot preserve workbook formatting, charts or multiple sheets. Keep an XLSX copy when those details matter.

Privacy and current limits

Files are handled in the browser. This is an alpha build, and it is not intended as an unattended batch converter. Test representative files before relying on it for a recurring workflow.
